Upcoming Events: We have several free events that are open to the public. Below is a brief list.
Plymouth District Library Teen Night: Rocks and Robots is offering a FREE Teen Workshop on Wednesday June 24th from 6:30-8pm at the Plymouth District Library 223 S. Main St. Plymouth, MI 48170-1687. During this workshop we will introduce students to a few basic programming skills and challenges before they take it to the next level and create a robot that can defend itself in the Sumo Ring. A Sumo Battle Championship will be held at the end of the workshop where the ultimate Sumo Bot will take the title as Champion. Come join us!
Lyon Township Library Teen Night: Rocks and Robots is offering a FREE Teen Workshop on Monday June 29th from 6-8pm at the Lyon Township District Library 27005 S. Milford Rd. South Lyon, MI 48178. During this workshop we will introduce students to a few basic programming skills and challenges before they take it to the next level and create a robot that can defend itself in the Sumo Ring. Wayne Public Library Mini-Workshop: This FREE Mini-Workshop is being offered on Thursday July 16th from 6:30-8:30 at the Wayne Public Library 3737 S. Wayne Rd Wayne, MI 48184. This workshop offers students to get a chance to be briefly introduced to some basic programming and building projects before participating in a Sumo Battle.
